We are a 100% Canadian small local business that started out making leather collars for our own Shepherd Dogs in 2008 at our Leather Studio in Westbank B.C. We needed collars that would not break under pressure, rough play, wear and tear. We wanted collars and leashes that matched the requirements of our active Shepherds. Our collars were attracting attention when our own dogs were wearing them. People would stop us to ask about where we got them. We had so many requests to make collars, we started to make collars for other dogs, we love making collars so much that we started to sell our collars at local farmers markets, Etsy and now Shopify.

At Stone Rival Leather, we are dedicated to the art of crafting high-quality leather dog collars that combine durability with distinctive style utilizing top quality materials. Founded in 2018 our mission is to provide pet owners with products that not only enhance their pets' appearance but also stand the test of time. Each collar, including our signature Forever Flowers Leather Dog Collar, is meticulously handcrafted to ensure both aesthetic appeal and functional reliability.

Our commitment to quality is evident in our rigorous testing processes, which guarantee that every collar can withstand the rigors of daily use. With adjustable options available, we cater to a variety of needs, ensuring a perfect fit for every dog.

We test all of our designs for a minimum of one year with our own active rough play Shepherds, before we sell any of our designs. We use Equine Industrial Hardware, including all Buckles, Rings, Loops, D rings, Machine thread Chicago screws and secured with Crazy Glue. This ensures that they will never come loose or undone. We use top quality 7 to 9 ounce Bridal Leather from Tandy Leather Canada.

We take pride in our craftsmanship, utilizing premium materials that contribute to the longevity of our collars. Research indicates that high-quality leather can last up to five times longer than synthetic alternatives, making our products a wise investment for pet owners.
